61nd Wine Fete and “Sagre des Campanelis”
September 2005
For more than sixty years now, on the first and second Sundays of September in the Pianelle park we have held the famous Nimis wine event and the “Sagra delle campanelle”, one of the oldest in Friuli.
Six days for hand pressing and crushing competitions (Peste e fruce), the International wood sculpting event, the exhibition of the Nimis CDO wines and the Grappa and distilled liquor exhibition.
Kiosks with local specialities, local crafts show, charity dips and the sale the famous pottery “campanelle” enliven the event. The Ramandolo producers’ wines are available to taste. |

The Ramandolo Protection Consortium taking part in the Sauris Ham Festival is now a consolidated tradition.

International Wine-Food Tourism Exhibition

The Ramandolo Protection Consortium will be a guest on the Stand of the DOLCE NORDEST Tourism Consortium, as a representative of the wine production from the Friuli hills. During the event, two important presentation moments for the DOCG (GCDO) area have been organized, followed by a tasting held by Ramandolo combined with local specialities: Friday 13 and Saturday 14 May at 16:00.

As part of the "Wine and Territory" Event, organized by the Wine Tourism Movement taking place in Grado from 3- 8 May 2005, from 16:00 on Friday 6 May, on the premises of the Consortium Colli Orientali del Friuli in via Candotti in Cividale del Friuli there will be a "four hands" presentation of the CDO Colli Orientali del Friuli and the CGDO Ramandolo areas which will be followed by a wine-tasting session organized by the two Consortiums. |
